Mad Canada Shadow Report Group is proud to present our four-page Introduction (link) to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities as it pertains to psychosocial disabilities and human rights in Canadian "mental health." This summary shows how several articles in the Convention relate, especially articles 14 and 12 on detention and decision-making, and what the UN Committee and Rapporteur have said to Canadian legislators in their published observations.
